Our Vision at London Justice House of Prayer
The London Justice House of Prayer is a vibrant expression of prayer, worship, and justice located in London, Kentucky. We seek to honor God by worshiping Him (cultivating intimacy), and through acts of justice on the earth. Below are key principles that will help you gain a better understanding of who we are.

OUR VISION
Our vision is to partner with God to build a House of Prayer in London, Kentucky. Through day and night prayer, worship, and ministry unto the Lord, we will impact our society in our region, state, and nation with the Kingdom of God.
We support the local Body of Christ through prayer and service. We seek to change the very atmosphere and culture of our region through intercession and the breaking in of God’s light and power.
We seek to provide leadership to singers and musicians that have a heart for continual worship unto the Lord. To provide a vehicle for their gifts to be used for God’s glory and purposes.
Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the Law. (ESV).
The vision for any organization, especially a body of believers in a church, house of prayer, or other ministry settings, is a critical and necessary component of its success or failure. A vision sets the boundary lines of focus and establishes the intent, purpose, and reasons for doing the work.
Without a clear vision statement to set the trajectory for the members, there is no way to know where one is going or if they will ever get to where they wanted to go. This is one reason why knowing God’s will and purpose is paramount for having confidence in moving forward into the reality of His plan.
Our desire is to be in agreement with the Body of Christ on the earth in praying for justice and the release of God’s plans and purposes; to seek His face, and to fulfill the First and Second Commandments – to love God and love people.

GOD’S PLAN
Then the LORD answered me and said, “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal, and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay. (Habakuk 2:2,3 NASB)
We believe God is raising up houses of prayer over the entire earth in this hour of history. Jesus declared His house would be called a house of prayer for all nations (Mark 11:17). One of the key roles of His Church is to pray.
We desire to partner with Him in bringing this truth into reality in our city, region, state, and nation. This means our vision is to ultimately engage with His heart to see the experience of night and day prayer and worship in London, Kentucky.
The reality of this vision means believers will join together to pray and move as close as possible to continual, unceasing prayer. We will join with the prayers of believers across our state, country, and the world in praying for God’s Kingdom to break in and bring power, salvation, justice, and a manifestation of His plans and purposes; to establish His rule and His reign.
The vision will require committed leadership, singers, musicians, and intercessors, as well as various ministry gifts and support. It will also come alongside the local body of Christ in London and surrounding areas to provide a continual flow of prayer for the work of the ministry and revival.

PRAYER SUPPORT FOR THE LOCAL BODY OF CHRIST
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body…and all were made to drink of one Spirit. The body does not consist of one member but of many. (1 Corinthians 12:12-14 ESV)
Part of the vision for the London House of Prayer is to provide prayer support for local churches and ministries. There is no disconnect from the local church and its function to be a burning and shining lamp to the community and the house of prayer mandate. London House of Prayer seeks to partner with local pastors and prayers to create a prayer network that will cover the city, region, and state.
This includes praying for revival, salvation, healing, the breaking in of God’s light and glory, gifts of the Spirit, righteousness, justice, and God’s Kingdom in truth and love.

A PLACE FOR SINGERS AND MUSICIANS
…and 4,000 were praising the LORD with the instruments which David made for giving praise..(1 Chronicles 23:5 NASB)
The Tabernacle of David was staffed with 4,000 singers and musicians who ministered before the LORD in singing and praying. London House of Prayer seeks to lead and train singers and musicians in a life of devotion before God and to provide a means for the use of their gifts for His glory and purposes.
The harp and bowl model allows for the structure and freedom to creatively express singers’ and musicians’ unique talents. It also provides the necessary accountability and leadership support that allows for team ministry and laboring together in the work of prayer.

PURSUING THE FIRST AND SECOND COMMANDMENTS
And he said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.(Matthew 22:37-40 ESV)
London House of Prayer’s first, highest, and most noble goal is to pursue, and in the greatest measure experience, the reality of the First and Great Commandment of Loving God. It takes God the Holy Spirit to reveal the Love of God in the hearts of believers (Romans 5:5). We first receive His love (1 John 4:19), and we love Him back with the same essence of Love (John 17:26). We then love ourselves in the truth of the light of how God loves us. This is not a prideful love, but a love that recognizes that even in our brokenness, the value we have to God the Father is He loves us in the exact same way and with the exact same love He loves Jesus. As we love ourselves in this righteous way, we can then keep the Second Commandment. To love our neighbors as ourselves.
Only in light of the First Commandment do we truly love our community of believers, the local body, and those we fellowship and partner with within the work of ministry. These two commandments anchor us to the true call of God and provide the proper motivation for the call to night and day prayer and worship.
